Q: I have made a test page.

When you click on 'Graceland' the html popup window opens and then you can click to play the video.

The problem I have is that even when you close the window (assuming the video is not finished) the sound keeps playing. Is there a way to stop this and also stop the download?

A: When you close the html popup window script only hide it. So you video willbe still playing.

You can try to change the content of the popup window before you closeit.

Q: There is a default gap between two collapsible javascript menu buttons. Suppose the two menu are "Company profile" and "Service", there is a default gap between those tow , it is not taking the specified space( for example I am putting 2px gap but it is taking a default gap) Please suggest me the solution for the same.

A: You should use new parameter in the data file:

  var tXPMenuSpace=0;

Q: We have been using you menus for a couple of months now. If I use the pathPrefix_link variable does it prefix dhtml menu's links that already have http or https (such as external sites) and will it interfere with the javascript onclicks for that we have setup?

A: No, path prefix won't be added to links with 'http://...' and 'javascript:...' in the beginning ofthe link field.

Q: I can’t highlight the selected menu item of the current page in the javascript flyout menu?


A: Please, check the following parameter

  var pressedItem=-2;
This parameter sets an index of an item that will be highlighted by default.
-2 - the toggle mode is disabled;
-1 - the toggle mode is enabled, but no items highlighted by default;
0,1,2,3,... - index of highlighted item in a top-menu.

The menu has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.

You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page.
That is why you should write your own code on PHP.

parameter on each html page.
